Packer Productions Adds Acclaimed Comedy Director James Haworth to Roster

​Packer Productions has tapped acclaimed comedy director James Haworth to its roster.

James’ directing career began with a bang in 1998 — his debut TV commercial for The Vegetarian Society was featured in the D&AD Annual. Since then, he’s become one of the most consistently funny and instinctive directors in the business, picking up Arrows, Lions, a Pencil and a cabinet full of other well-earned trophies along the way.

From subtly observed performances to gloriously absurd moments of chaos, James’ work is defined by classic casting, comic timing and an unerring feel for tone. His collaborations span major agencies and brands across the UK, US, Canada, including campaigns for McDonald’s, CREA, Subaru, Walmart, EQ Bank, Pizza Hut, Rogers and RBC.

“I’ve known James for a while and he always makes me laugh — on and off set. He’s one of those rare directors who understands that great comedy is about truth, rhythm and instinct. I’m thrilled he’s joined Packer Productions,” said Richard Packer, founder and executive producer.

James joins the Packer roster alongside Harold Einstein, Mike Maguire, The Biceps, Sara Haag and Zeynep.
