McDonald’s Germany has unveiled the latest chapter of its 'All das' campaign, highlighting how even the simplest moments can become memorable.
Created in partnership with Scholz & Friends, Abelone Films, and director Magnus Härdner, the campaign introduces two new stories that celebrate authentic human connection. Two uplifting films were produced: First Date, which shows a relatable interaction and budding relationship between a teen pair out on their very first date together. It’s all nervous smiles, shared fries, and sweet glances, capturing that magical awkwardness of young love without saying a word.
The second, Silent Cities, follows four night-shift workers who gather at McDonald’s after a long day. In the quiet hours, the restaurant becomes a place of warmth and companionship while the rest of the world sleeps, there is still life at the McDonald’s.
Shot by Axel Pettersson and directed with Magnus’s natural and playful style, both films keep it simple and real, no over-the-top effects but a strong focus on good cast and subtle yet intentional approach to directing.
With this next chapter of the All das campaign, McDonald’s reminds us that a quick meal can be more than just food, it can be the backdrop to life’s everyday stories. Whether it’s young love or late-night shifts, the new McSmart Menues enhance these moments of togetherness even more.
On set, photographer Frederike Wentzel captured the essence of the campaign with still images that reflect its playful, personal tone. Tied together by the tagline 'All of This,' McDonald’s offers a reminder: the best moments in life aren’t always bold or dramatic. Abelone Films also brought a dedicated social content unit to the production, led by Abelone’s Young Talent Yevhen Zhornyk. With quick cuts, dynamic camera work, and a modern, gen z sensibility, Yevhen captured the campaign’s energy for digital platforms.
