The Gerety Awards brought its signature mix of inspiration and celebration to Los Angeles for the first time with the 2025 Winners Cocktail, honouring this year’s award-winning work and the people behind it.
Hosted by Sophie Gold, president of Eleanor, the evening featured a live Gerety Talk titled 'The Industry Unplugged,' moderated by Emma Kuli, creative director at Eleanor.
The panel brought together an exceptional line-up of creative leaders: Linda Knight, chief creative officer at FlyteVu; Diego de la Maza, chief production officer at Deutsch; Jordana Freydberg, executive producer at Biscuit Filmworks; and Lauren Smith, chief creative officer at 72andSunny.
In a candid and thought-provoking conversation, they reflected on their career 'north stars,' discussed the creative opportunities and challenges posed by emerging technologies, and explored how brands can stay emotionally relevant across global and local audiences.
Supported by Ketchum, Reel 360, Dedalus VII, and SheSays, the event underscored what makes Gerety unique: a celebration of creativity through the female lens and a community that champions diverse perspectives and authentic storytelling.
Winners in attendance were also presented with their Gerety Awards trophies, closing the night on a celebratory note that captured Los Angeles’ unmistakable creative energy and spirit of collaboration.
