Tracey Johnson is named president of iProspect Canada, Kirk Cavell is named chief strategy officer at dentsu Media Canada and Jordan Baker is promoted to SVP, client leadership at Carat

Dentsu Canada has named a series of leadership promotions across its media practice, reinforcing its commitment to talent, client partnerships and sustained growth as the organisation builds momentum for 2026.

Tracey Johnson – president, iProspect Canada

For over eight years, Tracey has been a growth driver across digital performance, healthcare and B2B, consistently expanding the business while keeping people and clients at the centre of everything she does. A valued member of the management team, she brings strategic insight, collaborative energy and unwavering support to those around her. Tracey sets the standard for excellence, and she is exceptionally well positioned to lead iProspect Canada into its next phase of growth.

Kirk Cavell – chief strategy officer, dentsu Media Canada

Kirk expands his mandate from leading strategy at Carat, including award-winning work for GM and Kraft Heinz to driving strategic leadership across dentsu’s entire Media Practice. Known for his ability to uncover deep consumer insights and craft compelling narratives, Kirk has delivered meaningful impact for clients and new business alike. In 2026, he will lead dentsu’s strategic vision across the algorithmic era, the attention economy and emerging growth opportunities.

Jordan Baker – SVP, client leadership, Carat

Jordan steps into the Client Leadership role following several years of thoughtful, strategic leadership as Vice President, Operations. Known for his calm demeanour and sharp strategic insight, he is ideally suited to guide clients through the constant evolution of the media landscape. A natural relationship-builder, Jordan re-joined the agency two years ago after previously holding a variety of roles across multiple industries, including automotive, QSR, and packaged goods.

“These promotions reflect the strength of our leadership bench and the confidence we have in our people to lead dentsu’s next phase of growth,” said Christine Saunders, CEO, Media, dentsu Canada. “As we build momentum toward 2026, we are focused on scaling our impact through client-centric leadership, strong strategic vision and continued investment in talent. Tracey, Kirk and Jordan each represent the caliber of leadership that will drive our business forward.”

These appointments underscore dentsu Canada’s ongoing focus on strengthening its media practice, accelerating innovation and delivering sustained growth for clients across categories.
