We’re seeking experienced freelance Dolby Atmos Sound Engineers

Forever Audio is looking to increase our roster of freelance Dolby Atmos Sound Engineers who are available for work in 2026. 

We mix a huge range of creative audio in Dolby Atmos, especially in the long-form Audio drama space, creating worlds rich with sound design, music and voices. Dolby Atmos offers the perfect immersive environment, captivating the audience through depth and scalability of sound.

As our slate of projects evolve, we need to increase our roster of experienced, freelance Sound Engineers who are intricately familiar with the format, keen on working collaboratively with our incredible inhouse team. 

Anyone who would like to be considered to work with us must have:

• A minimum of 3 years industry experience mixing Dolby Atmos projects in Avid Pro Tools

• Extensive knowledge of the Dolby Renderer system and other specialist Atmos plugins

• Experience with Audio-only work, i.e. immersive entertainment or drama, and be willing to share examples

• Experience of localisation would be a bonus

• A willingness to adapt to our workflows and templates as necessary 

• Be UK based: Being London based/within commuter reach of London would be good for some projects that need to be mixed at our facilities, whilst some applicants could be further afield, working from home. 

• Experience and a high level of expertise are paramount.
